Ziet dan toe, indien zij den weg van haar landpale opgaat naar Beth-Sémes, zo heeft Hij ons dit groot kwaad gedaan; maar zo niet, zo zullen wij weten, dat Zijn hand ons niet geraakt heeft; het is ons een toeval geweest.
